About Us.............

Bragleenbeg is a beautiful old hunting lodge at the head of Loch Scammadale surrounded by farmland, hills and forestry and has been converted to form three spacious holiday apartments, Euchar, Feochan and Fineglen that are entirely independent and self-contained. Each apartment is simply but fully furnished including bedding, cutlery, china and kitchen utensils. All the beds are supplied with 13.5 tog duvets and pillows. All bedlinen and towels are supplied free of charge. There is a small laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer available to all our guests. All flats have electric heating, CD/cassette/radio and colour television although the quality of reception cannot always be guaranteed owing to surrounding mountains and weather conditions. There is also an out-going-calls-only payphone. All gas and electricity is free of charge. A cot and highchair are available upon request

There is no shortage of space for parking (2 cars per apartment). The house is set between two working farms and there is a large garden to relax in. There is also a field down by the loch where the boat is kept and many a family have had barbecues down by the lochside on a summer's evening. Children are very welcome and there is plenty of garden and woodland for them to play.

The apartments are available all year for long or short lets but minimum booking is for one week except for out of season when short breaks of 3 nights duration starting on friday or 4 nights starting on Monday can be arranged at 70% of the weekly rate. The period of let starts on Saturday at 4pm and departure must be by 10am on the last Saturday of the period unless otherwise arranged. There is a 5% discount if you wish to book two consecutive weeks.

Dogs are welcome, although their owners are requested to ensure on departure that the apartment is free of animal hair. It is also a condition of the let that dogs are, at all times, kept under strict control and not allowed near stock animals.
